We are decorating for Vacation Bible School and are looking to borrow a few items from our congregation for the week of June 22nd. If you have any of the following, we would love to use them: sea creature or jungle animal stuffed animals, wooden crates, old rope, a worn storage trunk, or silver play swords. All items will be returned after VBS, just be sure to label everything with your name before dropping it off. There is still time to register a camper or sign up to volunteer! We have a variety of volunteer roles available, from decorating and setup to leading and supporting kids during the week. Young adults, come out for a Young Adult Outdoor Volleyball Night on Thursday, June 11th at 7:00 PM at the barn behind the new property! Enjoy a fun evening of volleyball under the open sky, topped off with ice cream. No RSVP needed, just show up by yourself or bring a friend or two!

Our Men's Bible Study groups will begin a new series called Jesus's Farewell Message. This 6-part study dives into John 13–17, a passage rich in promises, commands, and eternal truths, reminding us that we were made to know, walk with, and commune with God. Two group options are available: Rob Kurtz leads a group every other Saturday at 7:00 AM beginning June 13th, and Dennis Fisher leads a group on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM starting June 9th. Dennis' group will meet weekly, alternating between the series and focused time in Scripture. This is a great time to jump in and start a new study! Questions? Reach out to one of the leaders. Enjoy a fun night together and connect with others from MVC at a Reading Phillies Game, followed by a spectacular fireworks show! The game will take place on Friday, July 17th, at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15 each, with an optional all-you-can-eat buffet available for an additional cost. Payments may be made online or by cash or check; cash or checks should be placed in an envelope marked “Reading Phillies,” and please be sure to register online as well, so we know how many tickets to purchase. Full details and online payment options are available on the event page, and the last day to sign up and submit a payment is June 22nd.
