Miles for Mercy 5K & Walk! Lace up your running shoes and join us for the Miles for Mercy 5K & Walk on Saturday, September 19 at High Point Camp, 200 Chapel Road, Birdsboro. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., and the race starts at 9:00 a.m. This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to support the ministry of Mercy Ministries while enjoying fellowship and exercise together. MVC Volleyball Outreach meets again on Friday, September 18th, and is open to anyone 16 and over. Join them on the first and third Friday of each month and bonus games on months with a fifth Friday at 7:00 PM in the Gym for friendly competition.

AWANA Registration Is Now Open! AWANA will begin on Wednesday, September 23 and meets every Wednesday from 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM. AWANA is a wonderful opportunity for children to grow in their faith while having fun. Each week includes exciting games, Bible verse memorization, and engaging large-group Bible teaching. Our dedicated leaders make learning God's Word fun and memorable through valuable Bible stories, creative skits, and occasional guest speakers. Soundboard and PC Techs Needed! - Want to make a difference behind the scenes? We're looking for more volunteers to help run sound and presentation systems during services. No experience is required. Training is provided! See us after service or contact the church office to learn more.
Singles Group - Are you single and looking for a great opportunity to connect with others, enjoy good food, and build meaningful friendships? We invite you to join us for our Single Group Brunch on Friday, September 12, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in Room 203 at MVC. Whether you're new to the group or have attended before, this will be a wonderful time of fellowship, conversation, encouragement, and community. Chronic Illness Community Group - If you or someone you know is living with a chronic illness, we invite you to connect with our Chronic Illness Community Group. This group provides encouragement, support, prayer, and fellowship for those navigating the challenges of ongoing health concerns. As a reminder, the group meets monthly, and the next gathering will be on Saturday, September 12th, at its usual time. We'd love for you to join us as we support one another and grow together in Christ.
New Members Lunch - Are you new to Mountain View Chapel or interested in learning more about becoming a member? We'd love to invite you to our New Members Lunch on Sunday, September 27th, at 12:00 PM in the MVC Gym. This is a great opportunity to meet church leadership, learn more about our mission and ministries, ask questions, and discover what membership at Mountain View Chapel is all about. Meal Ministry Cooking Day Volunteers Needed - Do you enjoy cooking and serving others? We're looking for ladies who would be willing to help prepare freezer meals for families facing difficult seasons of life, including illness, injury, the loss of a loved one, the arrival of a new baby, and other unexpected challenges. Join us for a Meal Ministry Cooking Day on Sunday, September 20th, immediately following the second service in the church kitchen. Together, we'll prepare meals that can be shared with families in need, providing practical support and showing the love of Christ in a tangible way.
Women's Bible Study starts September 13! - Ladies, join Jen Rhoads every other Sunday evening at 6:00 PM for a six-session study based on Jennie Allen's The Lie You Believe. Sunday School Teachers & Helpers Needed - As we prepare for the new Sunday School year, we are looking for volunteers to serve in several of our children's classes. We currently need teachers, adult helpers, and teen helpers in a variety of age groups. If you'd like to help, please contact Ron Schnabel to learn more or sign up. Teaching positions require membership at Mountain View Chapel, but there are plenty of opportunities to serve as an adult or teen helper as well. Kidz Jam Starts September 13! - Children ages 4 through 4th grade are invited to join us for Kidz Jam during worship before Sunday School. This year's focus is on Bible memory, learning the books of the Bible, and hiding God's Word in our hearts. Questions? Contact Emma Knott. We look forward to growing together in God's Word!
Men’s Conference - Men, mark your calendars for Built to Carry on Saturday, October 17. Based on the story of the four friends in Mark 2, this conference will challenge us to be the kind of brothers who show up, carry burdens, overcome obstacles, and lead one another toward Jesus. Doors open at 8:00 AM, the conference begins at 8:30 AM, and will be held in the gym. Don't miss this opportunity to grow in faith, accountability, and biblical brotherhood.
Photography Volunteers Needed - Do you enjoy taking pictures? We're looking for a small team of volunteers who would be willing to occasionally take photos at church events when our regular photographer isn't available. Photos help us highlight church life on our website and social media, letting members and visitors see all that God is doing through our ministries. All you need is your phone! Contact Angela if you'd like to be added to the volunteer list.
