- freeBAY was a great community event, and our church would like to thank Shalin Naugle for her leadership, along with all the volunteers who gave their time and everyone who donated items; because of your generosity and service, 222 individuals and families were blessed with items they could use at no cost.
- Come enjoy a fun night together and connect with others from MVC at a Reading Phillies Game, followed by a spectacular fireworks show! The game will take place on Friday, July 17th, at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15 each, with an optional all-you-can-eat buffet available for an additional cost. Payment may be made online or by cash or check; cash or checks should be placed in an envelope marked “Reading Phillies,” and please be sure to register online as well so we know how many tickets to purchase. Full details and online payment options are available on the event page, and the last day to sign up and submit payment is June 22nd.
- Join the annual Father-Son Camping Trip from June 12th to 14th near the Ricketts Glen State Park! This exciting adventure costs $25 per person and meals will be provided. Please bring your own tent, sleeping bags, fishing gear, and any other camping supplies you want. Learn more and sign up in the EVENTS calendar in the MVC app or website. - Join the fun at Pickleball Nights! The nets and paddles come out again next Tuesday, April 28th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or come ready to play, it’s a fun, relaxed way to move, laugh, and build community. Adults of all skill levels are welcome. A signup link can be found in the HUDDLES calendar in the MVC app. Spots are limited.
- Campers, get ready to set sail for a swashbuckling adventure because Vacation Bible School registration is now open for the week of June 22nd! Kids will embark on an exciting pirate-themed journey full of mystery and surprises as they discover the truth of God’s love, but it takes a full crew to make VBS happen. Every adult and teen who steps in to help fill needed positions plays a vital role in keeping the week running smoothly. We’re still looking for volunteers to serve, whether behind the scenes or right in the middle of the action. - Young Adult Community Night is for ages 18 to 30 looking to connect with others and grow closer to Jesus. Join us every other Thursday at 7:30 PM in the church gym for food, games, and real conversations. The next gathering is Thursday, April 30th, and you are welcome to bring a friend.
- Taste of Youth Group is a sneak peek of Youth Group for kids in 3rd to 6th grade. Join Steve K. in the Gym on April 29th, from 6:15 to 7:45 pm as they play Youth Group games and hear a challenging Bible lesson.
