Thank you to everyone who came out and worshiped with us at our Summer Night of Worship! We are so grateful for the opportunity to gather as a church family for an evening filled with food, fellowship, praise, and encouragement. It was a wonderful time celebrating God's goodness together and strengthening the connections within our church community.
Thank you to everyone who lent stuffed animals for this year's Vacation Bible School! If you have not yet picked up your stuffed animal(s), please take a moment to check the bin located under the table in the foyer. There are still several unclaimed items waiting to be returned to their owners.
Calling all young adults ages 18–30! Join us for Summer Nights: Young Adult Cookout & Pool Party, a fun evening of food, fellowship, and poolside relaxation on Monday, August 11, at 6:30 PM at the Thorntons' home. Come enjoy a delicious cookout, make new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, and cool off in the pool as we spend time together building community. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Attention all Sunday School teachers! Please join us for a Sunday School Teachers Meeting on Saturday, August 16, at 12:00 PM in the gym. This meeting will be an important time to connect, discuss upcoming plans, share ministry updates, and prepare for the new season of teaching. Your presence and input are greatly appreciated as we work together to encourage and disciple the children and families of our church.
Join us for Peachfest, Sunday, August 9th at 6:30 PM at the home of Lonnie & Laurie Hiltebeitel as we celebrate those being baptized, followed by fellowship with desserts and ice cream. Children are welcome to wear their bathing suits to swim, but keep in mind that parents need to supervise the swimming to ensure everyone's safety. Please sign up in the MVC app under the EVENTS calendar or at the lobby table. If you sign up online, the address will be emailed to you the day of the picnic, or you can find it at the lobby table. Don’t forget a lawn chair!
Miles for Mercy 5K & Walk! Lace up your running shoes and join us for the Miles for Mercy 5K & Walk on Saturday, September 19 at High Point Camp, 200 Chapel Road, Birdsboro. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., and the race starts at 9:00 a.m. This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to support the ministry of Friends of Mercy while enjoying fellowship and exercise together. MVC Volleyball Outreach meets again on Friday, July 31st, and is open to anyone 16 and over. Join them on the first and third Friday of each month and bonus games on months with a fifth Friday at 7:00 PM in the Gym for friendly competition.

Join the fun at Pickleball Nights! The nets and paddles will be out every Tuesday until further notice, and the group will meet again on August 4th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or come ready to play, it’s a fun, relaxed way to move, laugh, and build community. Adults of all skill levels are welcome.
