Awana

AWANA at MVC 

AWANA is held on  Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:45 pm. Join us for fun games, memorizing Bible verses, and participating in large group Bible teaching. Our leaders make Bible study fun and memorable with valuable stories,  fun skits, and guest speakers.

AWANA helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach to evangelizing and disciplining kids in the church and community.

The AWANA pledge is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Cubbies

4 year olds through Pre-K

Cubbies celebrate the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son, and His Word. Cubbies learn Bible lessons from the New and Old Testaments and really enjoy the puppet show to help make the lesson memorable. Cubbies have game time, create crafts, and snack time. 

Sparks

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. Sparks attend large group and then join their small group to discuss the lesson and recite their Bible verses for Awana Bucks. Sparks love our themed nights and are excited to have game time every Wednesday. 

T&T 

3rd through 6th Grade

The T&T  curriculum teaches kids the truth of God's Word, trains them to follow Him and practice His grace.  T&T students learn valuable bible lessons while in large group . In small group, kids enjoy discussing the lesson and asking questions. This is also the time they will recite verses from their handbook and earn Awana Bucks to use at the Awana Store. Every week the kids look forward to game time and spending Wednesday night with their friends.
