The purpose of this church is to foster the worship of God, to edify believers through the teaching of God's word and fellowship, maintain the purity of the testimony of Jesus Christ through the exercise of Biblical church discipline, and to make known to the lost the gospel of God's saving grace through Jesus Christ.

At Mountain View we have lots of opportunities for your children to get involved, and learn about God. Every Sunday we have Children's Church and Sunday School during our adult services. Every Wednesday night we have an Awana program, and every summer an exciting Vacation Bible School program.

Chris Eshleman has served as senior pastor at Mountain View Chapel since September 1982. Chris is a 1978 graduate of Boyertown High School. He earned a B.S. in Bible at Baptist Bible College of Clarks Summit, PA (1982) and an M.A. in Hebrew & Old Testament at Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA (1991), where he also pursued post-graduate studies.
Steve Karabatos (Mr. K) has served at Mountain View Chapel as Assistant and Youth Pastor since September, 1999. Steve grew up as a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and started attending Mountain View Chapel in November, 1993.
