Our 2018-2019 Awana program will be starting in September 19th, but we need leaders! We need help in the following areas:

  1. We need at least two Sparks leaders to listen to verses and help with awards.
  2. We are in need of an assistant coach for game time.
  3. We are also in need of teachers and small group leaders for out T&T program. (must be fulfilled by an adult member of MVC)
  4. We need an assistant leader for our Puggles program.

Please consider serving Awana to help us fill these needs! This program does not work without volunteers like you! If you have any questions please contact Mike Knott, Bruce Fries, or comment below.

Kidz Worship is for children 4 years old through 4th grade, and is held in the gym during the morning service. Next Sunday will be the last Kidz Worship for this school year. After a break for the summer, it will return on September 9th. Kidz Worship has taken on the challenge of teaching the children the books of the Bible, making it fun by using sword drills (contests to see who can find a verse the fastest), playing Bible Jeopardy, using a books of the Bible puzzle board and learning a new song. During the summer break, the leaders would like to keep the books of the Bible fresh in children’s minds. They are asking parents to play the “Books of The Bible” song for them, available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixMvFdeo-F0. If you have any questions, please contact Connie Dyson.
