Pathfinders is a young singles ministry open to anyone who is currently a senior in high school up through age 25.
Our focus is to become the type of single Christians the Apostle Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 7:32-35 whose concerns are about the Lord's affairs rather than divided between the Lord and a spouse.
1 Corinthians 7:32-35
(32)But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
(33)But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
(34)There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
(35)And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
Pathfinders meets 7:00 PM every Tuesday night at the Mountain View Chapel Classic building.
We usually wrap up by 8:30 PM.

Hey Pathfinders!
We continue our look at the book of Revelation with an exploration of the Tribulation. This is the doctrine that teaches that a seven-year period is coming which will have all sorts of horrible and detestable things occurring. Some people teach that this happens after the rapture, others before. Tonight we will see where this doctrine comes from because NOWHERE in Revelation are seven years of ANYTHING mentioned. Then, as we have been doing, we will take a logical, biblical look at this doctrine and see if it stands up to even a cursory reading of the text.
Also, a bunch of people were discussing a trip to Applebee's for reduced appetizers tonight after Pathfinders. If you would like to join along, bring $10 (you should be able to have change left over) and go with us after Pathfinders to the Pottstown Applebee's.
We begin at 7 PM tonight and wrap up at 8:30ish. Bring a Bible and any single friends from the Classes of 2001-2010 that you may have and come join us.
