At Mountain View Chapel, we welcome a variety of musical styles.
God loves people and people are diverse.
Musical styles and backgrounds are diverse, too. There are a number of
opportunities for using musical talents to honor the Lord.
Special Music
One such opportunity is in the area of Special Music.
Special Music is played or sung normally during the morning offering.
We have instrumental and vocal solos, duets, and ensembles.
Some of our musicians like live accompaniment, such as piano or instruments.
Others use audio tracks.
Either way is fine.
If you would like to participate in the music at MVC, please send an email to

Song Leaders
Another opportunity is to join our Song Leaders.
We generally have three or four vocalists assist in leading the congregational singing.
The accompaniment portion of the music is provided by our band, consisting of guitars, bass, and drums.
We also utilize piano for singing hymns and Gospel songs.
Large Ensemble
There is another opportunity for those who enjoy singing four-part harmony and that is the Large Ensemble.
This is open to teens through adults and very much resembles a choir.
We practice and sing seasonally from September through December and from February through May.
Musical styles vary from hymn arrangements, to newer music, to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and acapella.
We enjoy periodically having our young children sing as a group.
This is often done following a week of Daily Vacation Bible School.
We also have a adult contemporary band who put together a Praise Night which allows for new musicians to get acquainted.
We have much to be thankful for in the music ministry of Mountain
View Chapel and would welcome your participation and questions.
