Mothers of Preschoolers

Mothers of PreschoolersARE YOU THE MOTHER OF A PRESCHOOLER AND LOOKING FOR A CHANCE TO CONNECT WITH OTHER MOMS?

...IF SO, YOU’VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!

The Mountain View Chapel MOPS program is about…

  • Celebrating motherhood
  • Meeting needs
  • Making connections
  • Experiencing God’s love
  • ...through relationships and resources

It was hard enough bringing your baby into the world. But now it’s gone and turned your world upside down! When did showers become a luxury?! MOPS knows you are experiencing a challenging phase of life when doubt, fear, frustration and exhaustion collide with love, joy, hope and elation. This is a turbulent time for both you and your child. So while you’re pouring yourself into the development of your child, let us pour encouragement, insight and confidence into you!

WHAT IS MOPS?

MOPS is a special place you can go to meet like-minded women also passing through this unique stage of life. You’ll have a chance to not only make new friends, but discover a wealth of helpful hints and smarter strategies to deal with the challenges of motherhood.

WHAT WILL I DO AT MOPS?

You will enjoy a yummy hot breakfast, great speakers, fun crafts, and the chance to chat with other mothers who can relate to the issues you are facing.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

The children of MOPS are called MOPPETS and have a program of their very own. Children under two have access to a full-staffed nursery while older children can enjoy an interactive Bible story followed by a craft, snack and play time. Our MOPPETS volunteers are some of the most caring and dedicated individuals you’ll meet.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE MEETINGS?

Our Mothers of Preschoolers group meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month (September through May) from 9:00AM-11:15AM at Mountain View Chapel.

DOES IT COST ANYTHING?

Yes, the fee is $35 for the MOPS year (September - May) to help cover the cost of crafts, supplies and special speakers. ($20 is collected at time of registration and $15 is due at January's meeting.)

MOPS Purpose Statement:
