Our next blood drive is scheduled for Thursday, July 26th, from 3-7pm. Miller-Keystone now accepts donations from 16-year-olds with a signed permission slip from their parents. A sign-up sheet and permission slips are available on the lobby table.

We need a team of people to help with the setup and tear-down of our church picnic, which will be held on Sunday, July 15th at Ironstone Park right after the morning service. If you would like to help, please sign up at the lobby table with your name, where you would like to help and whether you have a pickup truck. Pastor Andrew will be in touch with you. A sign-up sheet for bringing food will be available next month.

Kidz Worship is for children 4 years old through 4th grade, and is held in the gym during the morning service. Next Sunday will be the last Kidz Worship for this school year. After a break for the summer, it will return on September 9th. Kidz Worship has taken on the challenge of teaching the children the books of the Bible, making it fun by using sword drills (contests to see who can find a verse the fastest), playing Bible Jeopardy, using a books of the Bible puzzle board and learning a new song. During the summer break, the leaders would like to keep the books of the Bible fresh in children’s minds. They are asking parents to play the “Books of The Bible” song for them, available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixMvFdeo-F0. If you have any questions, please contact Connie Dyson.

Every June we acknowledge individuals at the Chapel who are graduating from high school and college. Please join us next Sunday, June 10th, when Steve K. will be recognizing all of our high school and college graduates during the morning service.

The Youth Group Yard Sale has been rescheduled for May 25-26! The yard sale will be held at the Dierolfs’ home, at the corner of Rt. 100 and 311 County Line Road (across from Giant in Gilbertsville). The yard sale starts on Friday from 8am to 8pm, and continues on Saturday from 7am to 2pm.

We’re adding an “Our Military Family” bulletin board to the wall in the sanctuary alongside the boards featuring the missionaries that we support. We’d like to include pictures of those in our church who serve in the military, along with each one’s name, branch of service and any prayer requests they have so the congregation can remember them in prayer. Tina Giorgio and Christine Bryant are organizing the military board, and there will be an envelope in the lobby this Sunday, May 20, in which you can place a picture of your military family member, along with the other information. If you have any questions about the board, please contact Tina.

Lost and found items will be on the table in the gym this Sunday, May 13. Please check to see if anything there belongs to you or someone you know. Any items that are not claimed this week will be donated to the youth group yard sale May 18 and 19.

Taste of Youth Group starts May 9th! TOYG is a sneak peek at the Youth Group of the future for kids who just finished 3rd-6th grade. Join Steve K. on Wednesday May 9th, 16th and 23rd in the gym from 7 to 8:30pm as the classes of 2024-2027 learn some of the games that are played in Youth Group and hear a challenging Bible lesson. Please contact Steve K. (610-212-1996) with any questions.

It’s time to start spring cleaning and donating your unwanted items to the youth group yard sale! The yard sale will be held on May 18th and 19th at the Dierolfs’ home, at the corner of Rt. 100 and 311 County Line Road (across from Giant in Gilbertsville). Please see Steve K. or contact the church office if you have any questions about donating.
