What is a service like?

As you enter Mountain View Chapel you will be greeted by friendly faces. If you are unsure of where to go or what to do, these greeters will be more than happy to assist you in any way possible. Each week, our worship team and pastor strive to lead our congregation in a meaningful worship experience with a firm foundation in God's Word.

Our service will begin with congregational announcements, followed by a half hour of worship and a message brought by Pastor Chris. The service generally concludes around 11:30am. Singers or instrumentalists from the congregation present special music during the offertory and worship time.

What does the music sound like?

Our worship time consists of a variety of different types of music and musical performers. What we do not have is multiple services for different types of musical genres. We believe that worship is just that, worship of our Creator, and not a focus on our personal preferences. Worship is performed together by our entire church body. On most Sundays we will start with two or three modern worship songs with guitars, drums and several song leaders. We then transition into two or three hymns lead with a piano. Special performers such as singers or instrumentalists will often perform during the offertory time.

What will my kids experience?

We work hard to make sure that your children come to a safe, fun environment. When your children enter our church on Sunday morning, they will experience solid Biblical learning, fellowship with peers, and teachers passionate about teaching the truths of Christ. Our dedicated volunteer staff strives each week to guarantee Sunday mornings are the best hour of the week! Sunday School is provided from nursery up to 7th grade. All others are asked to attend the adult service in the sanctuary.
