▪ This Sunday is the last day to sign up for the Church Picnic. Directions are on the table in the lobby. ▪ Come visit the Mountain View Chapel Library in the Classic Building for some great summer reading! Books, audio books, DVDs, and videos can all be signed out for a month at a time. The Library is open on Sunday mornings and during the week on Tuesday - Friday from 9am-1pm. ▪ Anyone who would like to be baptized this summer, please contact the church office. We will be having a baptism in the swimming pool at the Hiltebeitel’s home during Peachfest on August 9th. ▪ We would like to update the information in the Mountain View Chapel Directory during the summer. A yellow copy of the directory will be on the table in the lobby where you can make any changes that are necessary. Listing your email address is optional. We will be providing an updated directory for the congregation in September. ▪ Pathfinders has started “Pool Tour” which will continue on into August. They will meet at the homes of various people who own swimming pools. Anyone with a swimming pool who would like to offer their pool (or home if it rains) on a Tuesday night this summer, should see Steve Karabatos for a list of available dates. ▪ MVC Amplified meets every other Sunday at 6PM in the Sanctuary. Amplified is for all young adults in their 20s and 30s, single or married. Child care is provided. If you have any questions, contact Matt Yorgey. ▪ We could use the help of three more men to direct the cars in the parking lot on a Sunday morning. If you are interested in helping out, please see Mark Dierolf or one of the Deacons. ▪ Each year at this time we provide Summer Care for those members of our congregation who need assistance with the mowing of their lawns. If you would like to be involved in this ministry during the summer, please call the church office or see Gary Dye. ▪ The Chapel is looking for volunteers to serve as Ushers. Basic duties will include welcoming members, guests, and visitors to the Chapel and assuring that everyone can find a seat. Both men and women can serve as Ushers. Anyone interested in serving as an Usher should contact Al Cinciripino. ▪ Mark these dates on your calendar...Peachfest at Hiltebeitels on August 9th and Harvest Picnic at MVC on October 2nd. ▪ If you would like 2009 Offering Envelopes, please see one of our Elders or Deacons or you may call the church office at 610-326-5856. The boxes now include a 5th Sunday envelope as well as some blank envelopes in the back of the box for special offerings. ▪ We are still looking for volunteers to meet at the Salvation Army in Pottstown to prepare a meal, serve, and clean up on the fifth Wednesday of the month (3-4 times a year.)
