▪ There will be no Children’s Church next Sunday. Instead, we will be having Promotion Sunday in the Gym.  All 4 year olds through 5th Grade will be dismissed after the announcements to the Gym for Promotion Sunday and will then be sent to Sunday School from there. (See all Sunday School Departments and Locations below.)

▪ The 5th - 7th Grade Sunday School Class will now be held in the Lower Level of the Classic Builidng at 10:40am. Children can leave the Sanctuary to go up to their class at 10:35am.

▪ Awana is starting in a couple of weeks and we would like to get an idea of how many children will be attending. There are four clipboards on the table in the Lobby for each of the different age groups. Please sign up your children today! Also, their is a meeting for all Leaders and Helpers in the Gym at 7PM on September 8th.

▪ We will be sending your name and address information to Olan Mills shortly for the Pictorial Directory and we want to be sure your information is correct. Each family is allowed up to eight lines of text...last name/first name, name(s) of child(ren), address, phone number, email address, and cell phone numbers. The choice of what you want to include in the directory is up to you. Please make sure your information in the yellow MVC Directory on the lobby table is how you want it to be listed in the Pictorial Directory. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

▪ A Funeral Luncheon Committee is being formed here at Mountain View. Please look over the sign-up sheet in the Lobby if you are interested in helping in any of the following areas of service...set up and take down of tables and chairs, food preparation, and serving food. This is an “on call” list that will be incorporated when the need arises within the congregation. Any questions, please see Deb D’Orsaneo or Michele Fries.

▪ The Father and Son camping weekend has been scheduled for September 10-12 at Paradise Farm Camp in Downingtown. The cost is $40 per person and includes all meals. Please see the table in the Lobby for more information or contact Ron Schnabel.

▪ The Chapel is collecting eye glasses for Adrienne Salaneck’s uncle, an ophthalmologist, who is going to Mexico to visit one of the New Tribes Missionaries. He will be going deep into the jungle where the Tribal Leaders have agreed that he can help their people with vision problems. He will be taking the used glasses and matching them to those people who have the same vision needs. You may put your used glasses in the box on the table in the Lobby until the end of September.
