Pastor Pastor Chris Eshleman (aka PC) has served at Mountain View Chapel since September 1982. Chris Eshleman is a 1978 graduate of Boyertown High School. He earned a B.S. in Bible at Baptist Bible College of Clarks Summit, PA (1982) and an M.A. in Hebrew & Old Testament at Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA (1991), where he also pursued post-graduate studies. Chris began at Mountain View Chapel as pulpit supply in September of 1982, was ordained and became full-time pastor in 1987. His hobbies include playing bass guitar, doing vocal percussion (mouthdrumming), reading , umpiring youth baseball, and using his below average carpentry skills to try to stave off the level of destruction that six children inflict on a domicile. His wife, Christine, is a 1984 graduate of Baptist Bible College with a degree in elementary education. Chrissy has devoted herself to homeschooling their six children and is a WICKED trombonist (wicked good, not wicked bad), a WICKED volleyball player (wicked good again!) and an excellent cook and taxi driver. Their six little blessings (well, not so little any more!) are: Abigail (22), Amy (20), Caris (18), Nathaniel (15), Adam (13), and Samuel (5). |
